The rig was purchased by borough of Shippensburg for a contract price of $6,291.60 and was to be delivered months earlier but a delay occurred when the General Motors strike held up delivery of parts to the Elmira plant.

71 Years and she still looks as good as she did back then. Ok, she's had a face lift or two over the years. But I still smile every time I walk past her as I come through the back door to the firehouse.
