Kitchen Damaged In Accidental Fire

On September 30, 1958 at 9:10 a.m., firemen responded to the Pine Road near the Airport for a house fire. A fire caused by a refrigerator burnt out a kitchen in a 1-½ story frame dwelling. The remainder of the home suffered smoke and water damage. When firemen arrived smoke was billowing from the windows and door with fire showing from a section of the wall that burnt through. A damage estimate was not available. The Vigilant Hose Company answered the alarm.
