Greene Township Mobile Home Destroyed
On May 17, 1984 at 1:30 a.m. Franklin County dispatched firefighters to a mobile home fire at 578 Siloam Road, Greene Township. When the first units arrived the home was well involved. The home and contents were a total loss. It was believed a kerosene heater triggered the blaze. A damage estimate was not available. Firefighter remained on the scene for almost 3 ½ hours. The West End Fire and Rescue, Franklin’s, Pleasant Hall Letterkenny and an Air Wagon from the Cumberland Valley Hose Company answered the alarm.
