Stove Causes House Fire
On January 31, 1926 at 9:15 p.m. firemen were sent to the area northeast of Shippensburg in Shippensburg Township.  A fire that started in the kitchen stove gutted the kitchen and extended to other parts of the occupied dwelling before being brought under control by firemen.  Damages were estimated at $5,000.
