Barn Destroyed On Ritner Highway
On November 11, 1944 at 4:30 p.m. firemen responded to the Ritner Highway for a barn fire.  A fire of undetermined origin destroyed a barn, wagon shed, hog pen and chicken coop.  Lost in the fire were three horses, 14 hogs, one steer, one bull, one heifer, grain and machinery.  A damage estimate was not available.
