Mobile Home Burns On Mothers Day
On May 11, 2003 at 6:19 p.m. Franklin County 911 alerted units to a mobile home fire at Schaff’s Mobile Home Park, 7500 Molly Pitcher Highway, Southampton Franklin. Firefighter arrived to find heavy fire showing from the home. The blaze began in the kitchen area and caused $10,000 damage to the home, a neighboring trailer suffered minor damage to its aluminum siding. Firefighters from four companies had the blaze under control quickly and remained on the scene over two hours. Firefighters from the West End Fire and Rescue, Vigilant Hose, Cumberland Valley Hose and Pleasant Hall fire companies operated at the scene.

I remember this one. I was on my way to the National Fire Academy. I was on the scene before fire apparatus. The family that lived here, the guy had a large collection of toy John Deere tractors in the back bed room. Quick knock on the fire.
